A starting brief for your artist

Pick upward reach, a symbolic wing or a falling adult figure. Specify the head-to-foot direction on the body, the position of the sun and the amount of drapery. Request a simple silhouette pass so the limbs and wing attachments make sense before adding individual feathers.

Details to decide together

  • Rotate the placement sketch with your arm relaxed; check that an intentional fall does not become an unclear sideways pose.
  • In the symbolic version, separate the sun from the wing tip and leave room around the drops.
  • Check shoulder, elbow and knee positions at a small preview size before asking for more feather texture.
