Hip tattoos: upper hip and waist studies

These anonymous adult AI hip-area diagrams place the motifs on exposed side waist just above an opaque shorts waistband. The actual upper hip is partly covered, so the sheet does not demonstrate a lower-hip or underwear-line placement. A flower sprig rises vertically, three stars form a short diagonal, and a crescent frames small leaves. Use these positions as starting references and have an artist locate your intended upper-hip boundary on the body.

Curated concept artwork. Placement tags suggest adaptations of flat designs; they are not on-skin previews.

A starting brief for your artist

Choose sprig, star diagonal or crescent. Mark the actual waistband you wear and the intended distance above it. Tell the artist whether you mean exposed side waist or a lower hip location; request a new body map for the latter and compare relaxed and lifted-arm positions.

Details to decide together

  • Measure the flower sprig from lower stem to highest bloom.
  • Check star spacing with the arm relaxed as well as raised.
  • Keep the crescent tips distinct from the leaf stems.
