Initials tattoo ideas: JM, AL & KR

An initials tattoo needs readable letters before decoration. The sheet uses JM in a thin oval, an open interlocking AL with a small twig, and bold angular serif KR beside a star. These are three different sample pairs, not previews of every possible name. When substituting your letters, plan a fresh arrangement around their actual widths and stroke shapes.

Curated concept artwork. Placement tags suggest adaptations of flat designs; they are not on-skin previews.

A starting brief for your artist

Type your exact initials in the required order and case. Choose separated or overlapping letters, then set the border, twig or star as an optional detail. Ask for a plain letter proof first and a second version showing the proposed overlap at actual size.

Details to decide together

  • For JM, leave the J hook distinct from the oval so it cannot be mistaken for part of the border.
  • For AL, preserve the A crossbar and the foot of L when the two letters overlap.
  • For KR, compare the two diagonals of K with the leg of R and keep the small star outside those joins.
