Loyalty tattoo: script & bold lettering

Loyalty has a long leading L and several narrow joins that change with the lettering style. The sheet compares an upward-flowing cursive word, wide serif capitals over a small diamond and a compact blackletter version. Use the same exact spelling to compare their shapes, then explain who or what the word refers to in your own design.

Curated concept artwork. Placement tags suggest adaptations of flat designs; they are not on-skin previews.

A starting brief for your artist

Give the artist Loyalty as exact text and decide between title case and LOYALTY. Choose a straight or rising baseline, then limit the leading L and final y so the word stays within the intended space. Review the letters with and without the diamond or underline.

Details to decide together

  • Trace the cursive o-y-a sequence slowly; each join should support the intended spelling.
  • In the capitals, compare the spaces on either side of A and T before widening the entire word.
  • Separate the blackletter underline from the descending y so it does not look like an extra stroke.
